Trail Mix

If you love trail mix as much as we do, you may have noticed that it is quite pricey. However, you can make your own trail mix easily and for much less expensive.

For a traditional trail mix simply combine equal parts of the following:
raisins
M&Ms
whole almonds
peanuts

You can also add any of the following (or use your creativity to come up with additional ideas)

popcorn
cashews (or other nuts)
Cheerios, Chex or other cereal
yogurt covered raisins
dried cranberries, dried bananas, etc
pretzels
chocolate chips
cheese crackers
bagel crisps

This is an awesome filling healthy snack for summer road trips!
